Hey ladies- I have a priest and a rabbi for my interfaith ceremony but they are costing so much money that it is embarrassing to even tell people. It is excessive for no reason that now I am thinking that I should look around because losing my deposit might be worth it if I can find it more reasonable....
I am looking for
a rabbi or cantor (but would rather a rabbi) and a priest who is still affiliated with the catholic church and will be able to file our marriage with the church and come out of the church to marry us....
You ladies have been so so helpful that I am hoping that someone out there has people for me....
HELP!

Re: Officiant help
I can't help you unfortunately but I heard priest cannot come outside of the church. It will not be recognized by the church. I had a similar issue. I also heard there was someone advertising himself as a priest but he was defrocked by the church so just beware. I can't remember his name but I can try to find it.

Re: Officiant help
Yea, we met with the guy who is a 'priest' but no longer affiliatd with the church...He is a great guy and admits to it, but we can't use him. You know how they say money runs the world...There are a few priests who will come out of the church but they just need to do the ceremony inside a room and they worked it out with the diocese.....Need to find them...thanks though for your help

Re: Officiant help
I have a Rabbi for you - he works Interfaith ceremonies, and I know that he has someone he always works with. It's worth a shot.
