officiant invite?
Is the Officiant supposed to get an invitation? Not the other vendors, right?

We invited our priest....I guess it depends on how close you are with that person...we are getting marreid in PA in a church both me and FH don't go to....FH 's family is very invovled in their church and their priest is comoing to marry us....we sent an invite to the priest that FIL's are close to...
i am sending him an invite, that way he can bring his wife and enjoy the rest of the day with us...
i didn't think about inviting his wife, do i have to? we really don't know him well....
I think some people invite their officiant if they are close with them or have known them for many years. FH and I just met our priest last year (and have only met with him twice since) so we aren't inviting him.
officiants should get an invite, but no other vendors
yes i think your supposed to invite the officiant. Im not sending him an invite, but i am going to ask my priest to come.
We're not inviting ours.
If you have a relationship with your officiant, priest, pastor, etc. and feel you would like to have them share in your celebration, then invite them. We just met our officiant so we are not sending a formal invite.
We aren't inviting ours. We don't know him at all.
We had no prior relationship with either the priest or the rabbi, but I was told it's the right thing to do to invite them so we did. They both declined and we were also told this would probably happen, you just send it to be nice. The priest stayed for a little of the cocktail hour, but that was all, the rabbi left right after the ceremony.
I am inviting mine he is a friend of fh and mine
