Officiant Procrastinating!

Anyone other 2010 Brides an officiant procrastinator?
Hehe.

I don't know why but I'm so not worried about finding a officiant. I mean don't get me wrong. I've been looking and contacting tons. But I'm just not willing to shell out that kind of dough.

I think I keep thinking there are SO many out there.

And if worse comes to worse his brother can always get ordained online.

Am I the only crazy one??

just be careful with having his bro do it ... if he doesn't have a lot of public speaking practice, he might mumble, or say 'um' a lot.

i totally understand not wanting to shell out hte money, but this is the most important part of your wedding (the actual marriage!) ... you want to find someone who will make it amazing!

lol i was going to have my sister and his brother do the ceremony...
i thought about it and it would be their first time and i thought it would add some personalization to our ceremony, BUT i also thought about the pressure it would put on them...
not to mention the emotion. if i saw my sister break down i would be a mess... so i just booked an officiant last month!!!!

whatever you decide will be great just be careful, i DEF thought the same way you did, the money is ridic but i am soooo happy i choose to book an officiant!!! hope this helps, but i was totally going to do that too.. just too much pressure!

I'm in the same boat. We have an officiant in mind, FH's pastor, except he hasn't officially asked him even though I remind him everyday to call him. So I'm going to say FH is the procrastinator, not me
