Officiant question

Hi all you beautiful,wonderful, smart ,LI women,

Now that I have your attention..jk

My ceremony is at the RH and I want to know, do you send an invite to the officiant or verbally ask them to stay for the reception or none of the above.
Its not a personal friend, it is someone I am using who is a vendor on here. But I still don't want to be rude.

It's a personal choice, you don't have to invite them. We decided to invite our officiant by sending him an invitation, he RSVP'd no but wrote that he appreciated the thought. We thought it would be a nice gesture, but it certainly isn't necessary.
