We went to the church tonight and spoke with the priest. We're not getting married in a church but FH wanted to fill out the paper work with the church so that we will be married 'in the eyes of the church'. We also want to do interfaith precana. My question is, we want to hire interfaith officiants that work together (like a priest and rabbi duo), can we do that or does the church normally recommend someone or frown upon a priest and rabbi duo?

Im not sure if this helps but.... You said you arent getting married in a church so... There is a vendor on here and I have contacted them and they are wonderful (I think)... And they do anything you want them to do... They do all sorts of ceremonies including interfaith... The name is 'A Beautiful Affair of the Heart' If interesting in that, I would def contact them... Its worth a shot... HTH!!!
