FH and i are more spiritual than we are religious. we'd like the ceremony to be meaningful without all the bible talk and whatnot. can anyone recommend someone? we've done zero searching for the officiant.

I highly recommend Rev Alison Caiola. She was great and no bible talk whatsoever We wrote the ceremony with her and she was fun to work with.

we are meeting with rev. deb viola next week...i'll let you know how she is! (we dont want any religious aspects at all)

pastor april is exactly what you are looking for.
she customizes each ceremony she does and writes is specifically with YOU & FH in mind.
The end result is not a dry eye in the house during your ceremony.

Try Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island. We wanted to make sure we had no God mentioned in the wedding, and it was tough to find someone. Monica Weiss, our officiant was great, worked with us on everything, made sure all was great. The best part, I thought, was that we made lists of what we love about each other and read them, which was amazing. FM me if you want to know more.

Definitely give Rev Deb a call. She is more spiritual than religious, and does reiki and spiritual workshops on the side!!! She is great and very easy to work with as well!

We are using Fr. Tom McCormick and he is a retired Roman Catholic priest. He isnt part of a diocese anymore so he can preform marriages outside the church. very sweet man!!
