Re: Officiants
Me and Fh are doing it. We are having a deacon from my parish and a rabbi that he recommends. (Priest can do it too) it just has to be in a structure. check your church. I know mine does it

Re: Officiants
I am Jewish and FH is Catholic and we are going to use a Priest and a Rabbi but are currently looking, haven't found one yet - but your rabbi will most likely have to be reformed.

Jewish Weddings
Anyone ever hear of having a jewish wedding on a friday night before sundown?
Know of any reform rabbi that would be willing to do this?

sure. I've known a few people that have done it years ago, however, you'll need a REALLY reformed rabbi to even agree to it bc you're celebrating during shabbat. My family wouldn't show up to a wedding fri night or sat day...sigh.

Re: Officiants
It might be kind of difficult to find a rabbi for a friday evening, even before sundown. An ultra reformed Rabbi might do it but im not sure..

Re: Officiants
Your Rabbi will most likely need to be Reformed.
The Catholic church will only let a priest marry both of you if you go through the specific interfaith pre-cana and you get married in the church. he has to promise all sorts of silly stuff, like he will promise to raise his children int he catholica faith - yadda yadda.
No priest will marry you outisde of a catholic church. you could try to find a prioest who is no longer affiliated with a church who could marry you and he could marry you at the place of your choosing.
Hope this helps!

Re: Officiants
my officiant is an ordained rabbi but is very reform - doesn't really practice as a rabbi anymore, he would def do this for you if you're ok with it being somewhat unofficial
