OH- and one more thing.

Original post by Suzanner

Have I mentioned that the other day I purchased two boxes of Girl Scout Cookies?

Yes, two. They are my honeymoon. Here they sit, until the day after my wedding. They are the Samoas, which they have re-named Caramel Delights. The greatest of all cookies everywhere.

Next year I will plan another huge party celebrating the return of my 72 lost pounds. You are all invited. No meat will be served. Only bread topped with sugar. And Hawaiian Punch.

Thanks. First I did the Atkins. Then I couldn't do it anymore, and switched to a low-cal plan. Then I gave up for three months and gained 15 pounds. THEN I went on Atkins HARDCORE from January 2nd. Since Jan 2, I have lost 35 lbs. I lost a few weeks in there because I was eating lots of candy with Sugar Alcohols, which are 'supposed' to be okay. I wailed on LIW about my Atkins failure, and then some of the ladies on here set me straight about the sugar alcohols. Since I stopped, it pretty much has been falling off.

I WISH I remembered who helped me- you guys really did help me out. I could still stand to lose a small child's worth of poundage, but at least I can get married now and not be completely horrified. I mean, normal people would be horrified, but for me, this is okay.

And for all interested, my diet has pretty much been the following:

Breakfast: scrambled eggs with cheese. A sausage. About 4 pieces of bacon. No, I am not kidding.

Lunch- you know, I don't even really know. I was bringing in sausage a lot, and then chicken- I had a salad about two of the days. A lot of times, I would just have sliced turkey and cheese. I'm lying- a lot of the time it would be salami. I loves the salams.

Dinner: Buffalo Wings. Prepared with Franks Original and a stick of butter.

A stick.

Marie's chunky Blue Cheese.

If I needed a sweet, I would have a spoon of Smart Balance chunky Peanut Butter. Almost no sugar, 2 carbs a tbsp, and Omega 3's!!

I can't tell you the amount of buffalo wings I ate. I have perfected my recipe, and now I think they are better than anywhere I have EVER had them.

I bake them in a baking pan with olive oil on the bottom of the pan. I cover them in seasoned salt and a LOOOOOTTTTT of pepper. You know, I never reallyliked pepper at all, but they MAKE the wangs. And if you use regular pepper, top it off with ground pepper.

Bake at 410 for 20 mins. turn over. 20 mins more.

Viola. Oh- if you want sauce, 3 parts Hot Sauce to two parts butter.

If I had to eat salad every day, I would go all Helter Skelter, and there would be a trail of dead behind me on the way to the Dunkin Donuts. For me, I think extreme was the only way.

Oh, and BTW- went to the Dr., and after this diet, Triglycerides and Cholesterol are WAY DOWN. I know, sounds crazy.

Hope this helps!!

WOW....that is a lot of meat!! Did you mix in any veggies? I feel like that is a lot of fat too (stick of butter, sausage and bacon). But I will take your word for it. Do you eat the same thing for dinner everyday? I love me some bacon and cheese and this diet just may be the way to go! lolol

One SERIOUSLY 72 POUNDS I AM SO BEYOND BEYOND IMPRESSEd at your dedication and will power. I think each day I manage to stay on my diet for about two hours. . and not even two hours at a time but kind of like combined aggregate hours throughout the day.. (not counting sleep - if you add in sleep then I manage to be there about 8)

two - AHHHHHH samoas - this cookie is so close to perfection. .I think it will be my goal to learn to make them (after the wedding) . . but I do not know how you have them in the house and NOT eat them . my FH went to magnolia bakery last night and bought a large container of banana pudding (which is made with like 8 times of cream, cookies, and of course banana AND a coconut meringue cupcake) and when I said. . how can you do this to me - I'm on a diet. . he said. .'well just don't eat it.' I was like ' excuse me, do you know nothing. .. look at the history of Pandora, Eve, winona ryder - if it is there, it is meant to be eaten, opened, taken,

anyway. . you are a weight loss hero!!!! that is like losing a 4th grader!!

I have bested you in the Girl Scout Cookies. I bought 3 boxes of Samoas, 2 boxes of Thin Mints and 1 box of Tagalongs. I'm so ashamed.

The first box of Samoas were SO good though. Enjoy them.

What, they renamed the Samoas??? That's not right! Why, was it considered offensive?
