oh boy -UPDATE at the bottom

im getting everything together for next week and i cant find my marriage license....im so stressed out, i prayed to st anthony but not sure whats gonna happen. i thought it was with all of my bridal stuff and i went to double check and its not there....help!!!!!!!!

Oh no! That happened to me last night.... I was looking for FH's birth certificate so he can apply for his passport. That is so frustrating! Just take a breath and try looking for it again in the morning. I'm sure it will show up.

any luck w/the birth certificate? i rmember putting the folders/papers in the office, but i cleaned out the office today and threw away boxes/papers - i know if i looked at the paper i wouldn't have thrown it out...but ughhhhh not sure...

Unfortunately, we didn't find the birth certificate. He has to get a new one. Can you apply for a second license? I know that the license only has to be dated at least 24 hours in advance.... But I am not sure if you can apply for a second one. I would think that you can. I'm sure there are other brides who have lost these things.

i'm a week behind you and I know that you are totally stressed. THese things do not get legs....it is definitely somewhere.
You must really try and think all the places it may be. In your unerwear drawer? With your honeymoon papers? In a secret place? Sometimes we put things in safe places that are so safe we forget where.......
look tonight/tomorrow. If you cannot find it,,,,,you will just have to get another...r.emember that there is STILL TIME FOR THAT.....AN ENTIRE WEEK.

we can get a dup, but not sure if we have to sit and wait again- we're flying up a few days before teh wedding, but we have sooooo much to do that it would really suck if we have to wait again...ugh not to mention an added fee - so fh wouldn't be happy with me

Well at least you can get the dup. You have a backup plan if needed. Just keep your eyes open for it in the mean time. It may turn up. Did you try looking in the trash (if it's not too icky)?

seriously i cant forget him either....i think hes the one who made me call her b/c i thought maybe i didnt bring it bk to fl and left it at her apt in ny but she suggested to keep looking - so it all works out!!
