FH and I were talking... and he really wants to move the wedding to December 08, not January 09...we have a lot of OOT guests, and i think he thinks it would be cheaper for them to fly in early december than in early january... i did the research for december 07 and january 08 and theres literally no different in the ticket prices (through Southwest Airlines, anyway)... as far as i can see, there's really no financial reason for it, as its like only a month difference...
i think its stupid because everyone is gonna be spending money on christmas gifts and they would have to set aside money for a plane ticket and in addition to a wedding gift (we're not asking for gifts, obvi, but i guess its kind of assumed)...
i dunno... what do you ladies think???? should i compromise with him? this is really the first thing he's been completely passionate about....he's let me do everything else my way...i dunno... HELP~!

wow that is a big decision...did you explain to him that you did the research and there really was no difference? As far as you being concerned about not getting everything done, I wouldnt worry about that...its not that much of a difference...you can definitely do that. If you think this is soemthing that is relaly important to him and you can go either way, then I think yo should go for dec. 08!

his mom had a good point... since we do have a lot of people coming from new york, it might be better to do it in december because of the weather... the weather is more likely to stop flights in january than it is in december... but so far that seems to be the only benefit of it.
i kinda wanna move it back to may, when it was supposed to be in the first place, but hes completely against that.
blah. this blows.

hmmm...this is a difficult decision....the thing with weather is it could hold up flights in either month ya know? FH is really against May? How come? I am trying to think of some pros and cons for december and january!

he wants it like as early as possible... i think i got him to compromise on april for me...i want daisies and nice weather... and cheap airline tickets... so we found April 4th, 2009... its before easter and passover and spring break...it should be okay... right?

his whole thing with that was that 'oh come on, its only a month'... but i think i got him to move to april, which is better for me!
