well, I would think she is joking but I do think its a really nice gesture if you pay since they are traveling for it......
I would maybe send out to your BP a hotel insert with a little note saying that the hotel accomodations are taken care of as a thank you for being in the BP??

I think she is telling you not to worry about paying for them. I'm sure she'll accept your offer if to continue to insist, but she seems to be fine with paying for her own accomodations.

I live in CT but getting married in LI. 3 of my bridesmaids are from CT. I would pay for the hotel for all of your girls even if they say don't bother.

me and my cousin traveled to newport, ri for my other cousins wedding (we were in the wedding) and my the bride didnt pay for either of us, or the other girl in the BP...
