Debi called tonight, and asked if I addressed a wedding invitation to her FIL's. I didn't because I thought she had told me she gave them one, just as she gave us one, when they first arrived. Someone is not happy, because everyone got one except........ I told Debi, it was just a misunderstanding. Then, someone else, wondered why a rehearsal dinner invitation was not sent. It was because this person is not in the BP, and Debi was trying to save $. Not be mean or anything. Deb also received two RSVP's to the wedding. One yes, one no. Once again, I feel badly for Debi and Fred, who have gone to friends' weddings in the past, given gifts, and now, those same people don't think it necessary to show their friendship in return. Thanks for listening!!! Mary MOB

Hey, Debbie!!!!! I just thought it was ironic, because of some of the past Bridal posts about how peple act when it comes to a wedding, family issues, etc. I never had these issues when I got married! What is up with people? What about giving Debi a chance to explain? Like she doesn't have enough stress already. Thanks for listening, Debbie!!! Mary MOB

it's times like these when you find out who your real friends are -- I hate how people are so selfish. I used to be really generous (mostly because my mother is that way) but no more. Maybe I'm just jaded...

I think it's hard, Corina, for people who are thoughtful, and loyal when it comes to friends, to understand why others don't respond the same way. It hurts, but may I encourage you, to keep on being the wonderful generous person, you are. Don't let the selfish people keep you from giving to those who need your love and friendship. I vent, because I'm a Mother hen, hurting for her chick, tonight, which is normal, but I know, for me, it's the right thing to do, to keep on loving, keep on giving. Blessings on you, Corina!!! Thanks for listening to my Mom vent!! Mary MOB
