Oh dear... I just fell in love with...

Oh dear... I just fell in love with...

these beauties. They are the perfect shade of blue, too

I just need to tell myself:

- they are way too expensive
- the feather thing is goofy
- i'm not a big fan of ankle straps

i'm making a lot of $$$ this summer and haven't really spent much of it, and they probably could bring my dress down a little longer again, but it's just not practical

i'll just drool a little... or a LOT

I love them but they are disgustingly expensive... and I don't normally like ankle straps... and they are a bit higher than my current shoes, although they already added some length back to my dress (it's a bubble hem with a measured length that came in too short, and they added a panel to the inside -- dont know how much more it would be able to come down though)

i'm kind of tempted, i just wish they werent THAT expensive! i can afford it, but i think my mom would murder me if she knew i spent that on a pair of blue shoes...

well here is one thing i'll say and this isnt to convince you of anything bc only do what you are comfortable with.

During the 22 month engagement i saved and saved and saved. I rarely bought myself anything, and the only times i did was when i REALLY needed something like new boots bc mine were all messed up or clothes for work and even that i didnt get too much of. I spent money on necessary things such as commuting, food and when i had events to go to and gifts. It was very hard at times and so wanted to just buy myself new clothes or something.

Well for wedding shoes i decided to buy manolo's last minute...i was like OMG they are expensive though but then i thought to myself that for 2 years i barely bought myself any shoes. I saved for the wedding and sacrificed so those 2 years i didnt spend on shoes or anything makes up for the fact that i want to get manolo's lol. DH made a comment but jokingly about hmmm manolo's. I told him to just be quiet bc he didnt stop from getting himself stuff all the time and i deserve to just get the shoes i really want, it makes up for the 2 years i didnt buy myself shoes dh said he was joking and that i deserved.

PLUS i still get use out of them

Maybe go try them on and see how they feel. Definitely seeing them in person will make a big difference, once you have them on you'll know if its the shoe for you. You can also try on the other blue ones you posted

Thank you

You could have the heal cut down a little without ruining the intergrity of the shoe.

Or don't listen to me because I am the devil when it comes to shoes -- I have no control. My only saving grace is that blue shoes will not go with my gold dress otherwise there would some pair of horribly expensive blue wedding shoes in my closet right now!

I LOVE THOSE... I say get them if you love them you deserve them. I happened to go overboard with shoes myself but buying them made me happy. If you can do it...then I say why not. I am sure that you will get more use of them

Yes, you definitely are making good use of yours, so that must make you feel better. At least they weren't shoes that you wore once and sit in a closet...they were worth it. Oh, and yours were so beautiful too! I was in Saks last week for something else, so I went back upstairs just to see for the fun of it if they had them. Wow, I felt so out of place in their shoe dept! I wish I had more time, but I was late...they had a big sale going on.
