A coworker of mine got married 2 weeks ago. From day one it was drama. There was another girl involved. She got pregnant. Its his. The coworker has a daughter. He's screamed at her about how she raised her. His mom is a trashy ho w a bf younger than her son. She has a new man like every month and aparently she was rude to her mom. They moved in w her parents. Today she told me that her dad hurt his eye and she went to get him drops. This jerk started screaming that it wasnt her job, that it was her mother's job to take care of the father and to grow up and learn her place.
This is why you dont marry someone you've known for 6 months. Ugh.

Re: oh do I have a story for you
hmmm, that crazy but i think it depends...ive dating FH for 6 yrs and we are still learning about one another........ but then again i dated FH when i was 19... 6months to me is the honeymoon phase but that depends on the maturity level of the couple.....6months may be enough time for an older & wise couple..
there can be girl X who does her homework before saying yes to the man and there can be girl Y who is on Cloud 9 for six months and gets a niceee reality check like your story above..
this is just crazzzy!!

Re: oh do I have a story for you
Dang!! That's craZy! My FH wanted to marry me after the our first year..I said no. I knew I wasn't ready (nor was he) and I wanted more time to get to know him. Plus he had just gotten out of a bad breakup and everyone knows u need longer than a year to get over that. Things like hating ur future inlaws, issues with exs, children and baby mama drama all come out after the 1st year!! Ha

ohhhhh boy. Obviously he isn't doing his 'job' if they had to move in with her parents. You need to tell her to put her shoes on, get out of the kitchen and get the H$ll outa dodge.

Re: oh do I have a story for you
A girlfriend of mine, married a man only 6 months after they met each other. Although they are still together and love each other very dearly, after getting married they learn that they still had a lot to learn about each other. Luckily it work out very well for her, but usually it is unlikely that it will work with someone who you have known for such a short amount of time.

She needs to get rid of that SOB as soon as possible and move on with her life. A man like that will never change and she will have a lifetime of drama and sadness. I just hate men like that.

Re: oh do I have a story for you
theres so much more to this story. I could go on and on. she paid his taxes for him...she paid the whole wedding. it was in a restaurant but it still cost 7k.
her MIL is a nightmare trying to stir up trouble every minute.
the other girl w the baby is constantly contacting him and then calling her and saying he's having sex w her..and I sort of believe it.
its just bad. I just dont get why she married him. she's been a single mom for 11 years and NOW she decides after 6 months to get married?

I agree, if somebody insulted my child, they are getting a fist in the nose.

I think no matter how long u r w/ someone doesn't matter...i think u need to live w/ someone first to fully know them
