oh FMIL....

i am beginning to think that maybe you have serious mental issues and it is not just that you are trying to make my life miserable...

i emailed her last week the time for her hair appt at the hotel...she is first at 11am followed by mom my at 11:30. FMIL writes back that she was wondering if she could switch to later...here is my reply...
'I cant switch anyone around...my hair and makeup people said that hair needs to get done before makeup which is why it is in that order (and they said the flower girl goes last since she is youngest and fusses the most). The only one that is not getting makeup done is Nicole, but she is not going to be able to check into the hotel that early so unfortunately you have to stay with your 11 time'

she never wrote back so i told FH when he speaks with her mention again the 11am appt bc i need to be sure she shows up and doesnt cancel.
FH speaks to her yesterday and she had the nerve to say Paula said she would try to get someone to switch with me...

umm where in my email did i write that crazy lady???? can anyone understand how she misinterpreted my email to make her think she was getting a later appt???

i really think she needs actual help

My FMIL told me it's putting her in a 'tough spot with dear friends' to ask her BEST FRIENDS who work for a limo company how much it would be if we used them for our day.

She made me feel CRAZY for asking- and asked me why I thought we would get a better price for knowing them.

Meanwhile FH was planning on using these people the whole time.

I guess now we can't.

I understand completley!!!! People read what they want.

That's like been having lots of issues with FSIL over her being in the wedding and not contributing financially at all as a BM.

She says well it's your guys decision if you want me out or not...I text her it is your decision to make whether you want to say in the bridal party or not...we can't make that for you.

And somehow she replied back you know I want to be a part of your day thanks for understanding I can't contribute financially. I am like ummmmm how did you get that from my text? That was never stated. So I feel your pain!!

I'd write her back and be VERY clear and concise.

'Nobody can switch with you. There is NOT one person who can change times with you. Im very sorry. Let me know if you'd like me to cancel your appointment. I need you to contact me with an answer by 3pm on 8/1/11, as I have to let them know by 5pm.'

Now copy & paste that and don't have Dan ask her directly. That gets him involved which is EXACTLY what she wants, him in the middle.

Again, I'll show up to ur RH with a glass of red wine ready for her dress if she gets outta line. Let me know!
