a friend of mine got engaged about a month ago. her FH is in the army, so they were up here visiting the past weekend, and we got together. i asked her what kind of place she wants, she said.. 'beachy, but not on the beach'
so basically, ceremony on the beach, reception inside, option of going outside....
she said she saw a place on line up on the north shore in nassau. i dont remember where.
do you ladies have any other suggestions?
i was thinking surf club?

there are a few places in long beach that you can get married on the beach.
Long Island is hard because of all the permits and sh!t you have to get for actual beach ceremony

she could check out the lessings properties ... i origianlly wanted a beach ceremony and they had a few good places

sunken meadow has a place where they block off an area to get married on the beach but they have a small reception area inside and they put up really nice tents for larger parties
