Has anyone taken the FOCCUS test yet???? FH and I met with the priest today and got the FOCCUS test to take home and complete. Well during the car ride home I decide to open the booklet and start reading some of the questions....OH MY GOD I CANT BELIEVE SOME OF THE STUFF THEY ASK YOU
Good thing we got to take it home and take it because FH would have walked out when he saw it!!!!

You only have to take it if your getting married in a church. And you cant fail it.
It asks you some pretty personal questions!!! Stuff about your sex life, beliefs on homosexuality, if your FH's family likes you You just have to read it for yourself. One of the questions is about if you think your sexual life together is a way of experiencing gods love for you!!

We didnt take it yet! The priest gave it to us to take home. Its sooo many questions, I just cant get myself motivated to do it. I am still trying to figure out how the hell to answer some of the questions!!! I will probably have to take FH's too

We had to so it there and seperate so we didn't cheat!! Yes some of the questions are hysterical I was trying hard not to chuckle!

Not to offend anyone, but is it a Catholic thing? No one else in my family who has gotten married had to take it... (And they were all in a church)

Im getting married in a catholic church, so i think it is. Im clueless when it comes to things like this

Oh no...I'm scared! FH and I went to the Church already and they didnt give us any test!! Is is different for each Roman Catholic Church?

Hmmm...I dont know. We didnt get it until our 2nd appointment with the church. The priest said that we dont have to have it back until the end of the month and then he will call us in a month or two to go over it since there is no rush.
I always thought every church made you take it. Guess not!
