I saw some really pretty painted wine glasses that I'd love,b ut they're just a little too pricey. I'd like to find something kinda quirky, b/c that's how I am, but I'm not at all sure what to get. I guess I have time! I think that if I was a december wedding I'd probably go with an ornament regardless, b/cit would match the 'theme' of the wedding, but since I'm in October, its really not necessary and I'd hate to run the risk of 1) offending anyone 2) giving something that some people might just toss away b/c its not something they'd have use for

I just meant that a squirrel on a string doesnt have to be a christmas ornement especially since she was giving it in October.

I think your point of taking it into consideration was valid , I was just giving an example of why I didn't think it mattered.

I know a lot of Jewish people who have 'ornements' hanging in their home. Whether it be on a bookshelf or from a hook or in a window or from their rearview mirror in the car.

Honestly, i didn't mean to offend anyone. I just said that it wasn't Jesus, meaning that it's not Christian and that I don't think people would be offended by a squirrel.

Also, the majority of favors seem to go unused as it is. I thought this was cute and generic.

The CHRISTMAS was just to accentuate that there are other kinds of ornements.
but going back I see why you'd think that. Again, I didn't mean anything by it, so I'm sorry.

I think the word ornament gets confused with a strict christmas affiliation. An ornament is just a decoration... it doesn't have to be for any reason.

I just call anything that would hang an ornament... my friend Rebecca loves unicorns, she has unicorn ornaments all over her house... i love penguins and have penguin ornaments all over the place...all year round...

Sun catchers are a type of ornament...

I realize that you might think I'm saying this with attitude or speaking down to you, I hate that the internet doesn't let you express tone... I just want you to know that it's not meant like that at all. I'm only giving those examples to show what I meant, and why I said what I said.
I hate that I might have offended you, or be partially responsible for why you wouldn't want to post here anymore.

I didn't have claws out at all, and was really confused by that comment until you explained about me writing in caps......

The ornaments are really pretty, people can use them as statues also if they aren't Christian, right?? As long as you know that they won't get offended by the favor I don't see why not.

I LOVE THEMM!!!! FH and I love squirrels....lol we know--its weird.
