I was emailing people for addresses for my save the dates and accidentally emaliled the wrong 'Kristen'.... a girl I haven't spoken to in a years that I've only ever been acquaintances with (at best). We went to school together over three years ago. She responded with her address!! i don't want to invite her... We have way too many guests on our list as it is and need to cut some. Now what??

Re: Oh No!!!
oh that is sooo embarrassing, and something that would totally happen to me. my advice is not very nice: just ignore it or, if u want to be nice just email her back saying that u emailed her by mistake and u sorry to have bothered her (altho this doesnt sound any better than the 1st advice)
I dont think I helped much. sorry

Re: Oh No!!!
I would be honest and explain that u made a boo-boo. If you guys weren't even that close, she'll probably laugh it off or say something like-'i thought it was a mistake, i couldn't believe i was invited', or something...JMO

Yea, but the thing is that she made conversation in her email back to me...ie. Hi? How are you? So don't I have to respond with something?

I would ignore it... She'll forget about it eventually. You can respond backw ith a simple response to her but just don't follow up re: her address.

Re: Oh No!!!
Did you say that you were e-mailing because your getting addresses together for STDs or did you just say that you needed her address w/o giving the reason?
If the latter, then I don't think it's a problem. If the former, maybe respond back and say 'Oh wait! This isn't Kristen (insert last name of correct Kristen)? I must've mixed up your e-mail addresses. '
or something of that nature

just notice you did
if she brings it up tell her you where sorry but it was meet for someone else ( family member say) and that your wedding is just for family and close friends otherwise you would have loved to have there and that you and FH are on a budget

Thats a good idea! This way you won't have to flat out say that she isn't invited and she will get the hint.

Re: Oh No!!!
I've done that before (but with less important things, NWR).
Sorry I have no advice to offer. I will be extra careful now! I have been texting my friends or asking face to face. It takes longer but now I am scared I'll do the same thing!

Re: Oh No!!!
if in the future she says HEY wasn't I invited to your wedding.... just say I'm so sorry we have budget issues and kept it small. But You're welcome to come to the church!
