So, we put a deposit with Father Robert Allmen... and now I hear awful things. I started digging deeper when I realized it was getting ridiculous that we haven't been able to meet with him.
Yes, I have understood from the beginning that he wasn't really Catholic Priest and our marriage wouldn't be recognized in the Church... I was just trying to appease my grandma a bit by meeting her halfway... and now I feel like I am in troubs for it!
Has anyone used him and had a great experience? I sent an email to Pastor April (who I wanted to go with in the first place) but I know she is in high demand so I am afraid it will be too late to get her.

I had contacted him a while ago and then posted on here looking for info and all of it was very negative so I cancelled my appointment. Sorry not much help but Pastor April has been wonderful so far so hopefully she is free

I was gonna use him til i heard all those awful things about him.
Even when I spoke to him he seemed sketchy. I am going with Father David.
Try contacting him. He may be available.

That is terrible. Pastor April is amazing and I hope she is available for you.
How could I have missed this?? It has just reached comical proportions! Thank goodness there is time... Hopefully other brides will see this!!

Oh no, so sorry your going through this. I hope that you are able to get your money back and Pastor April is amazing, maybe that will work out. I've also heard really good things about Rev Deb, who works with April.

Pastor April is all booked, but we have an appointment to meet Rev Deb. Totally excited about that. Luckily the deposit was only $200. We have to look at it as a mistake that could have been a lot worse - because we aren't getting that money back!
