Oh no! I accidentally threw out....

a $100 gift card to Fortunoff's! I can't believe I did that. I doubt they'll be able to replace it.

No, I am an idiot. I forgot I had it in a the bag that they gave us when we registered-----I threw the bag out like 3 weeks ago! I just remembered when I went to look for it.

Did you pay for it or did someone else give it to you? Most places won't replace lost or stolen gift cards, but if you have the receipt it has some of the numbers on it so they might be able to trace it and cancel it.

oh man that stinks!!!!!! did fortunoff give it to you??? or did someone else give it to you? sometimes if someone buys the gift card they get one of those tracking receipts to be sure it was activated? Maybe you could try that?

OMG............... call them and see what they can do.... atleast call.. it wont kill you to ask.. I would definitely call and if they say there is nothing you can do then there goes $100 down the drain

My cousin actually lost a $100 gift card for Target but because the original purchaser (my mom) could provide proof of the purchase (receipt had the card number on it) they were able to see that it hadn't been used, cancel it and replac it. It's worth a shot.
