Oh no I invited her and saw her tonight in Walmart......

Yeah so I invited a very close friend of mine that was my Big Sista when I was growing up.....okay so I saw her about a month ago and got her address and told her about the wedding, because I would love for her to come......

Well tonight i see her in Walmart and she introduces me to her 'boyfriend' hugs and kisses she says, 'Oh we are going to her wedding in June' 'WE' i am saying to myself....

mind you i sent out my A list invites on Sat and she was on it......I indicated 1 on her response card. She never told me that she was in a relationship. For all I know this could have started yesterday

what in F#$% do i do now?

Do I......

-Wait to see if she crosses out 1 and puts 2
then i will have to kick her but or ......

-Send her a note explaining why after i get all my responses then add 'her boyfriend' to the B list

-Say nothing and move forward

I'll be willibee darned and pissed off if she even thinks of coming as a couple and i just invited her.....

wait and see what she does and then if she does respond with 2 just call her and let her know u have to see if u have enough no's then if u do she can bring her boyfriend.

I would explain things to her NOW then wait to see what happens..you don't know how she will take it since she just introduced her bf to you and she is only going to get an invitation for 1 in the mail.

I would wait and see what she does and says. Also if she mentions it, tell her why you did what you did and tell her that it depends on your guestlist. I told FH if we don't know who someone is dating we should not be inviting them, but we will handle on a case by case basis.

I would wait and see how she responds then based upon that I would do something. If she puts 2 then I would tell her that you have to wait and see if there will be enough room once all RSVP's are in.

First of....what did you address her invite? Name plus guest. or just her name? If she replies with two, you can simply tell her, that at the time of the invites you were unaware of her relationship. You may want to tell her that if she doesn't mind, you can see if you can accomodate her, once you've heard from your B list.
