OH NO, looks like rain!

OH NO, looks like rain!

I know, I know, I shouldn't have done it...but I looked at the extended forecast for June 23rd and it says scattered thunderstorms! I'm supposed to get married outside and the inside option just isn't as pretty. I'm so sad!!

Better not rain, I'm having a 50 person BBQ that day, so I will be praying for you!!!! (and me )

You never know, so just wait it out and try not to think about it.

EastWind is gorgeous and either way, you are going to have an amazing wedding

Don't worry about it yet, it's too far off. I can't tell you how much STRESS I went through freaking out about the weather before my wedding, as rain was forecast. Like you, I really wanted to get married outside, the options were a lovely patio with views of a green golf course and the Great South Bay, under a gorgeous pergola covered with vines and purple flowers. Or, the dance floor in front of a fireplace. Which is nice, but NOT the lovely outdoor option. They kept saying rain, I was SO upset. Then that day they said 'rain later in the day.' It did rain, but started four hours after my ceremony. The photographer said that the light we had was the best--it was fairly bright, but overcast so there were no harsh shadows, and no one was squinting in the sun. He was very happy, and so was I. In the end I got a little bit of a sunburn! Yes, after all that worrying about rain, I noticed a slight sunburn in the pattern of my wedding gown on my chest. But then I'm pale and freckled and burn really easily. So I ended up getting the best of all worlds: great light, an outdoor ceremony, and everyone says that rain on your wedding day is good luck!

STOP WORRYING. Anything can happen. You have plenty of time.

Don't worry about it. Just like you I was checking the 15 day and 10 day forecast for my wedding and everyday and even the day of my wedding it said it was going to rain. Guess what, it never rained.

The weather changes all the time, especially with a week to go! So, don't start stressing until 2 days before. Plus 'scattered thunderstorms' means it could rain for 10 minutes in the morning, then be beautiful the rest of the day. Just look at it that way!

Either way, you're going to have a fantastic day, cause you're getting married!!!!!

Weather is very hard to predict within a 5 day span. A lot can happen in forms of precipitation, cold and warm fronts. Wont worry about it right now wait a few more days then work on making the arrangements.

Either way in the rain or not it will still be a lovely wedding. Besides wedding photos with umbrellas in the rain are cute and romantic. It It shows that your love can brave through the harshest of times ... and elements :)

Have a wonderful wedding!

I LOVE LIWers!!!!
Thanks girls, I feel soooooo much better! I decided today that I am not going to look at any forecasts because it was stressing me out and I feel a pimple coming on. I cannot break out! I'm going to take everyone's advice and just relax about the weather and instead focus on what's important...my honey and me!
