I just got an email that Park Ave Studio, which is a Smithtown Landing House Vendor is running a special for August - 50% off all ALL PACKAGES!!!

I'm psyched as hell.

I think I'm calling them tomorrow to schedule an appointment. WHEEE!!

kristy, can you share the quote and what was included? We're looking for a very basic pk...
the only 'catch' with the deal is that we have to book at the consultation, so I'm worried even with the 50% off it won't be in our range :(.

also, do they give you rights to the photos?? We were thinking of just asking for the proofs so we could make our own album down the road.

their website says pkgs start at $1595, but I don't know what's in that, so I'm hoping we'll be able to stay in the $1k range?

Hate to be a debbie downer BUT, thats a lot of money for a company to just 'give away'....dont rush into anything....
If you go with them, get a good contract

we actually had such a great time meeting with Tom at Park Ave too!

I feel like he got a good glimpse of how e are as a couple and he ever said that we'd be so much fun to photograph, because we seem so comfortable together and like to laugh.

I'm so psyched! And he threw in an engagement session!! I never thought I'd be able to afford one!!

I'm so happy and I feel so lucky when it comes to how well this has all been going! :)

I owe a huge thanks to you ladies, too!
