Oh wait a second...who's name goes first- groom or bride?

I always thought bride first on a monogram...or you know, when you get those preprinted ribbons with your names and date...

Does it matter? TIA

Uh oh...and another question. When you're announced at the reception...do they say Mr. & Mrs. Brett H.....or should it be Mr. & Mrs. Brett & Tara H....or Tara & Brett H?

Oh my I really am outta my mind!!

It's too late because our 'announcer' recorded it as Mr. & Mrs. Brett H....people won't even notice so I'm certainly outta my friggin' head.

Slap me silly! PLEASE!

Brides name first on invites, ribbons and such. However anytime you are announced Mr and Mrs. It's the grooms name first.

This is a good question. You never think of this stuff until you actually sit down to do it.

It's funny because FMIL always insisted that it should be the Groom's name first and after spending a few months on here I know now that she is SO wrong

From what I recall every wedding I've been to they always announce the couple as Mr. & Mrs. John Smith.

It's going to be awesome, you so have to get that recorded and put on youtube for all of us to see, especially FH's face when he realizes what's happening, priceless.
I told FH about it and I heard him telling his Dad and brother about it the other day, they were like, wow that's pretty awesome

It is always the bride's name first on the wedding related items.

As far as being announced at the reception I believe it is either Mr. and Mrs. Brett H or Tara and Brett H. I thinkg you can do which ever way you want it.

Bride first and you can be announced however YOU want to be announced.

I've seen Brett & Tara H...

and Mr. and Mrs. Brett H...

I've also seen 'Mr. and Mrs. Brett and Tara H..' but that's not really correct.

I'm so excited to be announced as Mr. and Mrs. Todd P....

Our band asked us how we'd like to be introduced, so it's however you want. How you recorded it is FINE!
