Oheka Castle
Here's a tip for you though --if you can plan a quick wedding (i think 6 months or less), they will reduce the cost for you!

Oheka Castle
thanks for the tip... I don't think my FI would go for that unless they cut 30% off the $185 price...

Oheka Castle
Oheka is so awesome just way out of my price range. Also their is a site fee plus the cost per plate.

Oheka Castle- Very Expensive
Oheka charges a site fee as well as per plate. In the high season, their site fee is $10,000 and its about $300 pp.! yes that is very high, and off season its 1/2. but it is beautiful!

April Oheka Bride!
Hello All! Yes the Oheka is pricey, but it's worth it to us!! Their low season is Jan, Feb, March, when the sight fee is half. My suggestion would be to listen to Misha's tip, because it works with any facility, try to book within 9 months of the wedding and you can negotiate a good deal. Just to add, there are so many wonderful places to have a reception on Long Island and the choices are endless! After hearing about other places on this site, I wish I had seen them too! In our case, my fi fell in love with Oheka and wants to marry his 'queen in a castle' (he's sappy, but sweet:o)!!!) and so we went for it! We love every bit and the food is AMAZING!!! If you want info, call Kelli at 631-692-2707. She is a dream!!! Good Luck, and wherever you choose will be beautiful!!! Ayanna

Oheka - Not for large weddings
Oheka is absolutely grogeous, but the main ball room is on the small side. If you are anywhere near 200 guests, it is likely tables would have to be set up in the hallway, and it would still be tight.Welcome New Vendors
