OHEKA Castle Questions

Hi, I am very new to this site, and I hope I am even doing it right.. LOL

Anyway, I am from Staten Island, and I am getting married at OHEKA castle next November. I do not personally know one single person that has been married here, and I have to go by a list of approved vendors that are from Long Island, which I am not familliar with AT ALL.

I am wondering if anyone could help me out that has been married there. Right now, I have nothing booked except the Castle, and I want to start looking into the vendors. I have no idea about pricing, and I could really use the advice. Anyone who was married here will know that it costs an arm and a leg, so I want to make sure that I get the best prices for flowers, music...etc.

I would appreciate any help I can get! Thanks girls!!!

My FH used to be best friends with the owners son, if its still the same owner, and he has went to many events there. Who did you book with? We may be able to help you out with any questions =)

We're using Spitz and Peck, out of their Huntington location. We booked with Wade, one of the owner's sons I hear. They were extremely professional, and I'm super confident in their abilities! They've been in the business a long time. They ended up being $1,000 more than I really wanted to spend on flowers, but in the end, after meeting with other florists, it was worth the money. (We'll see day-of, right?lol). Did they end up being on your list of approved?

I got married at Oheka and we could use any vendor we wanted - are you sure that you need to go by some list? We just needed to be sure they had proper insurance, which all reputable vendors do. FM me if you have any questions.

Im not getting married at Oheka but my photographer is the house photographer there. B rett M atthews- They are AWESOME!!!! I just got my engagement photo's back and they came out amazing!
I know my florist, Flower Michele, has done weddings there. Not sure if they are a house vender but they are amazing as well.

Hi,

I have been to a wedding at the Oheka Castle, it was very beautiful but honestly the best part of the meal was the cake. They used the in-house baker and I heard many people raving about it after it was served.
