I got a card in the mail today about an Oheka Castle Showcase on July 28th. They are charging $10 to get in per person!!!!!! I have never been to a bridal showcase that charged admission!! It says they serve wine, champagne, and Hors D'oeuvres. I am curious to see what the place looks like (my wedding is already booked at Flowerfield though) but I don't know if I am willing to spend $20 to see it.
I haven't been to many bridal shows. But I went to one last year at the Garden City Hotel where you had to pay and personally in my opinion and liked it better. It was much more organized and personalized. But like I said I haven't been to many - JMO.
I spoke to them about this and even though I'm getting married there, I'm still not going because they are expecting hundreds of people and the new room won't even be finished by then. They will have another one in a few months.
