Ok, am I crazy?? Vendor Issue...
I just need someone else's opinion on this whole thing...
I was looking for invitations through out the month of april and I finally came across beyondtheinvite.com. They have some great stuff there and it looks really nice. So I contacted her to place a sample order and she told me that she is already booked for the month of May and that the samples are taking two weeks to get out. So I asked her if I waited till June if she had an opening and she said yes, but there is a chance of loosing that spot if I wait the two weeks for the samples. Well, I figured I'd take my chances as I'm sure none of you ladies would want to place an order with out at least seeing the invitation! So after emailing back and forth the order was finally placed on May 7th. So here it is May 25th and still nothing. Monday would have been two weeks and it's friday, in a couple more days it'll be three weeks!!! So I emailed her to ask her what was going on and she writes back:
'I apologize, I have been trying to contact everyone that has been waiting for samples...
I am booked for June. I am very sorry we won't be able to create your order for you.
I will refund your sample purchases. '
Now wouldn't you be a little peeved. I'm not mad because she's booked for June... I'm mad because she knew the samples were never coming and that she was never making them but you couldn't have found the 15 seconds to write me an email over the course of almost 3 weeks! Now it just makes it that much harder to find someone else with such short notice.
I emailed her back and told her that I was upset and she write me back saying well, I told you this could happen and forwards me back a letter that she had wrote me in the beginning about how she can guarantee the spot for june and if I wait for the samples I could loose it.
That is not the point ... the point is that she knew she wasn't making the samples but let almost 3 weeks go by! Does anyone else see what I am saying?? I feel like I'm going nuts!![]()
