sooo it's about time I ask my bridal party 'officially'.
They all know who they are, we have spoken about it but I haven't officially asked everyone yet.
I was going to make them each photobooks but it's a lot of work and expensive (9 girls).
I was thinking about doing bridesmaids cookies but feel like a lot of people do that...
Do you think it would be OK to write a nice card and send them a picture or something??
Any other ideas?!

I think the card thing is fine. I just asked my girls in person (no card), but for my MOH I made her a gift basket filled with sentimental things from our childhood and I made her a scrapbook of our friendship (we've been friends since I was born so it was a long scrapbook), but I didn't think it was necessary to do that for the others. I might for their BM gifts, we'll see

This is what I did.
I invited them all over for pizza at my house on a Sunday afternoon. I gave them this card
and
this bag (i ordered them from orientaltrading.com)
so cute!!! I was thinking about doing something like this but I a having 9 people and it's been hard trying to coordinate schedules!

Where are you getting them?
Michaels has tons of cute ones, along with the fancy pens to write on them. Depending on how crafty I feel, I may bling them up too!

I had handmade cards made for each member of the bridal party. For $3 bucks no one had ever received such a thing! She even made them in the colors I was planning! LMk if you want the info!

Honestly it's crazy to buy them something to ask them a question.
I guess it's a nice touch but totally unnecessary.

The card idea is so cute! Maybe u can get one of those christmas ornaments that open up and u can put a note in it like 'will u be my bridesmaid/maid of honor' and give it to them?
I called all my bridesmaids and maids of honor first before I annouced to all my friends and family I was engaged!

yes that's what I was thinking! I think that one of my girls got one before so that's why I was thinking about not doing it. Everyone loves cookies!
