OK BTB Tell me I am not nuts- June 26th Wedding and still haven't done....

OK my friend is getting married June 26th and she still hasn't booked

Limos,

Picked out the BMs dresses

Picked out her Invites

Or booked make-up

She was telling me this and I was thinking

She is so laid back about it.

Please tell me that I am not insane, that she is really cutting this close, it's been a while for me since my planning and I was so anal I had everything done a year in advance.

WOW! I am anal too and would be flipping out if I heard this. The BM dress is the biggest! They need like 3 or 4 months to come in! YIKES!

I was kinda similiar And I got married the same day With the exception of dresses.

My friend is getting married in July and ordered her invites a month ago and they told her she was cutting it close....

As for the BM dresses...I don't think they would come in time...thats cutting it too close for me.

Limos I am sure you could do though

Whao - I would be if my wedding was in June and I has not ordered BM dresses. Gotta love those laid back brides...lol.

A friend of mine put a whole wedding together (200 ppl) in 2 1/2 months. it can be done. I personally wouldn't wait than long esp. for the BM dresses.

OMG... I would be freaking out over the BM dresses and the invites... its getting kinda close..

As far as limos and make-up, I think she might be ok...and if not, she could always do her own make-up and drive herself to the wedding!

Im sure everything will be ok...Like dleeny said... people do pull weddings in like 2 months... I could never do it, but thats just me :)

Limos and Make-up Ok, not a prob. Maybe she can get away with ithe invitations but BM dresses ??? She is going to be one stressed out bride when she finds out the BM dresses usually take 3-4 months to come in unless she buys off a rack. My prayers are with your friend.

I am getting married that day too! I did my invites today and I still havent really 'booked' my make up, but a family friend is doing it

Limos we did 3 weeks ago--we only did so because that is prom weekend, so you better let your friend know!! And the tux shop told us we were lucky we came i last week bc of the proms

I would totally worry about tyhe BM dresses bc I ordered my 6 weeks ago and the dress place told me I was cutting it close!

We only have 5 1/2 months to plan our big day and I'm leaving nothing until the last minute - much less big decisions like that!! She's something else!

I don't think the limo is horrible, but the invites & bridesmaid dresses will be a rush! I ordered my invitations for a mid-July wedding about a month ago also, and I was told I was cutting it close too.

How many bridesmaids does she have? It might be smarter to go to a department store at this point and look for off-the-rack dresses, which shouldn't be too hard if she doesn't need everyone to match.
