OK DURAN DURAN FANS...I'm Back from their CD Signing/Concert!!!!!! (Few lousy pics included...ADDED MORE PICS AT END :)

OK DURAN DURAN FANS...I'm Back from their CD Signing/Concert!!!!!! (Few lousy pics included...ADDED MORE PICS AT END :)

It was INCREDIBLE!!!!!
We got there at 8:30 this morning & saw them perform live outside the Good Morning America studio. They sang 'Hungry Like the Wolf', 'Sunrise', and 'Girls on Film'. They still sound terrific live.
9am, went over to Virgin & got the new CD/DVD set & got our bracelets to secure a spot in line.
Stood on line from 2pm till 6:15 (Yes, I am crazy) when they arrived.
They were ALL so nice (well, Andy didn't say a word, just smiled a bit). They took the time to talk to us, Roger was much friendlier & funnier than I expected, John was AWESOME!!!!! God, I love that man. So funny & charming. I made him a bouquet of purple roses & he was very flattered.
Simon is just dreamy. He didn't talk a ton, but he doesn't need to, his eyes are incredibly HYPNOTIC. I never realized how truly sexy this man is-always too interested in John.
So here are a few terrible pics I took. TeReSa8A has good ones, she'll get them to me soon (including a good one of me & SIMON!).
PS-While we were in line, many news crews came by & took some footage. Fox 5 interviewed a few girls by us & Toni Senecal from WB 11 was hanging with all of us for a bit & did many interviews- so watch the Ch. 11 News at 10pm!!!

I was at both as well. I was in the City by 7:30am. I got my cd & went to see them sing! What a great morning.
I was at Virgin around 4:30pm & got to meet all of them & shook there hands. I took my time talking to each of them. I had 2 photos one of John & Roger & one of Andy from the show at the Borgata that I asked to be autographed. They signed them & all three told me what great photos they were! Happy me
This was definately such a GREAT day!!!

I'm so jealous of you guys!! The pictures were great. It stinks having a new job and not being able to take off!!!!!

Wow. Thanks for sharing the photos. I was such a Duranie back in high school. *sigh*

They still look great. Glad to see Roger is back with the group!

I'm so jealous. I've been a Duranie for over 20 years but I wasn't able to go to either the concert or CD signing. Thanks for the pics!!

I am soo jealous!!! You lucky ladies!! Have LOVED them since 3rd grade - they were mu first concert in 8th grade - cried the whole time!!

There is a live chat going on now from 6 - 7 pm on msn.com.... its hysterical to hear (read) some of the questions! I just want to know when they are coming back to NY!

WOW those are so close, AWESOME pictures, I wish I could have been there, My dream is to talk to them and or touch them...I'm such a GROUPIE!! ha ha...
