I almost book at CLM so I vote for them!! It just looked like they knew their stuff, and we'd have a blast partying!

have you checked out v.e.r.d.i's of westbury? that my RH and I think they'll be in your budget.

but if you're not big on them... I totally root for Coral House! that was our #2 choice!

Out of those four, I would go with Chateau La Mer...

My vote is for CLM! I am biased though

I voted for Leonards as well because thats my RH.

FWIW, the reason Leonards has a so-so rap on here is because several years ago Leonards was really terrible with customer service and the food. My broker said he attended weddings in the late 1990s where he said Leonards wasn't exactly run very well. They had a lot of turn-over, management problems, etc.

The reason Leonard's is affordable (more than in prior years) is because of a change in management. From what I was told, they have new owners and the weddings over the past 2-3 years have really been fantastic. I talked to a bride who had her wedding there a year ago (shes not on LIW) and she had nothiung but wonderful things to say.

So be aware that Leonards has new management now and a lot of the old criticisms don't apply now.

I vote for CLM and I've dealt with Tino and he is beyond amazing. I also dealt with Lou who a lot of people say is a little rude but he was so accomodating and nice to me. I've never really dealt with Nick but from the posts he's great. The food is wonderful and LIWeddings chose it to host TWOTY so they must be good

On a serious note, I got the best bang for my buck there and we are on a serious budget as well!

we looked at larkfield. BEATUFUL there. we didn't deal with Maryann though. they are really flexible with pricing.

I met with Tino at CLM and he was awesome. I never been to an event there so I couldn't say.

I vote for Leonards. My cousin had his wedding there and it was AMAZING. My FSIL is getting married there as well and hasn't had a problem with the service. She said the food was amazing. I would also vote CLM as well. I had total confidence and almost booked but beause I wanted a summer wedding...it was not in my budget. We chose another hall.

I voted for CLM and not jsut because I had my wedding there. I have been to events at all of them and I feel the food is the best at CLM and I feel like you get soooooo much for your money.

Nick is absolutely amazing. If you deal with him not a thing will go wrong.....I seriously think he would have jumped in front of a moving train for me on my day.

Hubby & I have to make a decision on!

As a lot of you Brides know im one of the OOT Budget Brides (not ashamed to say) & based on the $60-65 pp// Sunday Evening quote for Min 100 people in April-its down to

1- CLM
2- Leonard's
3- Larkfield Manor
4- Coral House

And i have to add-whenever i've called these RH's, nothing short of GREAT customer service..
~Nick at CLM is so nice and personable.
~Maryann from Larkfield is such a sweetheart everytime.
~Linda from Coral house is Amazing & I think it's ~Antonio(?) from Leonard's,very helpful and nice.


Help-whats your experience visiting these places?
