So, I have been elected the official pie maker of both my family and JT's, and I am having a pie baking marathon as we speak! We've got two pumpkins in the oven, two apples waiting their turn, two coconut creams and one lonely pudding pie. I don't know what possessed me to accept the position as chief pie baker, but I did, AND I don't even have my own place right now, so I am borrowing a kitchen What has my life come to? Oh, there's the buzzer..............

I'm so serious, though, I do make a mean pie, but 7 is pushing it I mean, WHO EATS FOUR PIES? I don't even like pie! But everyone else seems to, and JT won't be home until VERY late tonight, so what better activity that a pie-a-thon?

It smells REALLY good, but I just got done mixing all of the stuff for the cream pies and my hands are swollen Ok, no more pie marathons for me! It's amazing how much I can type in a day, but put me to work mixing, and I don't know what to do with myself!

Well, there's normally 16 on my side, but this year only 12, and for JT's side (we split it, early dinner with my family, then dessert with his), there's just 6 of us and his neice. Certainly not enough to warrant THREE pies! But hey, they all like something different, so it's ok

i must say though i love homemade pies, but pumpkin seems to be pretty good cooked from the freezer
