ok favor opinions!

so our wedding is 30s and 40s old hollywood inspired.

We were toying around with giving away cocktail glasses with recipe cards featuring a classic cocktail including it's history. We will have some classic cocktails as signature drinks at the wedding.

I am in love with these glasses from Crate and Barrel. One per guest, so 2 per couple. What do you ladies think?

I am trying to find some inexpensive stirrers of something else to go with them.

but all in all i like this idea... how are you thinking of presenting them??

I would say they should be given a set of 2. If I had gotten just one I am not sure what I would do with it. So, IMO i would scratch the idea of one per guest.. that would leave solo guests with just one glass.

I plan on putting them in boxes and wrapping them...or at least I think....I actually haven't given much thought to it haha

I can't afford to do 2 per guest (they're $5 a glass) and I really don't have many singles invited. I totally understand you're point. The only thing I can think of is if I box them up as doubles and do one set per couple allowing singles to get 2, since I don't have many singles.

yea... this is def. what i would do... pack them together as 1 gift and give 1 pack to each couple an 1 pack each per single guest, that way single people don't just wind up with one.

check cb2 or bed bath and beyond.
