ok good news/ bad news

Good News First:

FH and I just did our entire seating plan in about an hour and I am all ready with my final counts and stuff

Bad News:

If one more person RSVPs yet we have to do the entire thing over again bc every table it maxed out OR just missing one



no one else is coming - I am waiting on about six people

for people not to rsvp (never thought we'd pray for that here, lol)

wohoo!!! i hope i have it that easy!!!

yay on figuring out the tables, and i hope no one else rsvps

And for being able to do it in under an hour....I don't even think about seating arrangements....makes my head hurt just thinking about it!

LOL honestly i DO want them to come and I guess I will figure SOMETHING out but its tough you know?!

yay!!! It only took an hour?!! That's sort of relieving to hear. We're actually waiting to find out how many of FFIL's friends are coming. He kept track of his friends' RSVP's and wrote the entire list in CHINESE (which neither FH nor I can read).

And he included some of his family in that list, but FH already counted all the family on our list. And we're not sure how much overlap there is because we can't read his dad's list.

okay this is how i did it if anyone needs help!

I got a few sheets of paper and numbered them all from 1-12

then i grabbed one and just filled it up with whoever i thought should go there. . .there are obvious tables like
immediate family
coworkers
friends
etc

i just filled them in off the top of my head. THEN i went through my guest list and crossed off everyone I put at the tables.

THEN i went through my guest list and saw who was left over and put them at different tables.

THEN i looked at the seating plan and put them on the floor plan and numbered the tables like my friends are near the dance floor and my parents are closest to the dais.

then at the bottom of each sheet i put number of kids, adults and favors needed.

i also did MY side first then his side. it still has to get final parental approval but i think we did a good job!

eta: for the floor plan part i actually put the papers on teh floor and arranged them around my dais to see where they were
