we had soem ppl nice enough to be honest, say that it doesnt fit properly, but they like it. here is an annoynomos poll---and comments will help as well. i will say this, my grandmother had one liek this and my mom's friend who wore this b4 i saw her pic and it fit the same way, ithink that is the style of it. maybe thats what they did in the 50's? i dont know lol...so...
ok i didnt see the second pic in the original post.. in the second pic it looks like it sits better. I can see the details and style of it much better in that one too... very pretty.
I think it would look better if you had big curls, kinda half-up/half-down and they were placed in the curls on top of your head...otherwise I think it sticks too far off your head..its very high. But, that might be what you are going for ... if it is..then its perfect for you!
Personally, I dont like it b/c it looks too much like a crown. Maybe like an op said...w/ more curls and all. If you ae going for the look of a crown, then its perfect. It doesnt look bad, its just not my style.

I do not mean to be insulting AT ALL but I kind of think it looks like you have a pretty bowl sitting on top of your head. Are you wearing a veil? Maybe it would look different with a veil but alone I don't like it. I'm sorry.
