Ok here is the sitch, what would you do?

Ok here is the sitch, what would you do?

my friend is a hairdresser and I asked her to do my hair and some of the bms hair for the wedding, she said yes. A few weeks ago my friend tells me that my friend doesn't wanna do anyones hair because she wants to have time to get ready for the wedding at her house as opposed to the hotel room and doesn't wanna miss the ceremony. She also told my friend she feels uncomfortable doing weddings, but she did my other friends and she was rushed and didn't finish all of the wedding party's hair. Can you tell me that after a year she decides this?????? So I text her yesterday and asked her if she wanted to do it still cause if not I wanna book someone else she tells me that she can't think straight and that she will tell me tomorrow. P.S. no call back, should I just find another person?

Kind of the same thing with makeup one of my friends cousins said she would do it, but has not answered my text asking her when she could do a trial. What should I do? I don't wanna look fed up on my wedding day cause I waited too long to book someone else111

book else where...i am not relying on friends or family to really help even though they said they would....if i wait for them ill be walking from brooklyn to li for the wedding

i would book somewhere else - i don't like to get friends/family involved when it comes to the wedding things. you'll never know if people will really pull through.

i would book someone else... its sticky when its family/friends though. i knwo where you are coming from, but if she aske, jstu tell her that you hadn't heard from her and booked someone else. this way she can have time to get readt and attend the ceremony,.

agreed. Everytime someone volunteers there services I jsut say, Thanks, but I really want you to just enjoy the day

Totally book someone else. You were nice enough to give them a chance, and if they don't want to do it they should tell you, and not leave you hanging!

SHE OBVIOUSLY DOESNT WANT TO DO IT SO MAKE THE DECISION EASIER FOR AND GET SOMEONE ELSE.

Thats tough but if they cant decide I would book someone else.. God forbid they cancel last minute you dont wanna be left with no one..

Definitely book someone else for both.

I too have friends who are hair dressers and make up artists in the film industry and I didn't either bother asking because I did not want this to happen.

Please please just book with someone.
