ok heres a dumb question

With all your diy printed items, how do you get the right size? Are you guys using word, how do you set the size of the paper that you need?

do you mean for menu's for example?

i did them for e-party and when you make the menu on word you do go to page set up to change the set up...the middle part was exactly half of a regular paper, on my paper cutter it had a ruler so i used that while cutting, the paper that goes behind the printed menu i took off i think 2 inches on each side cant remember exactly but i did have a whole method for this, i looked up diy projects though and i found out what the measurements should be.

For the menus, I changed the paper size to 4.25x11 and it still printed wrong!
I'd like to have 2 per page and cut them but i might just have to put 1 per page b/c I cant get it to print correctly.
