Nicole, you are hilarious! I'd never get one...I am too scared! I've had horrible experiences with getting my eyebrows waxed (chunk of skin ripped out OUCH!!!)

that is exactly why i told her to make sure she is completely dry and if not to put baby powder on...When your skin rips like that its usually because your skin was damp. Either that or the girl waxed in the same spot more than once which she shouldn't have done...that was just the ladies fault completely

Yeh, that caused me to stop getting them waxed years ago...I'm too paranoid now :(

LOL I thought you had a scary doctors appt or something. I've never had a brazilian, i do a skinny bikini wax. I've heard they're not too bad. Be brave!

I have been going to J Sisters in NYC for years, but lately the $65 price tag for a wax (plus the $20 tip) has been a little much. So I took the recommendation of a girl on here and went to Elite Day Spa and they were great - AND ONLY $25! I couldnt believe it. Also the girl was so quick that I was able to go on lunch! I get so many great ideas from you guys so I thought I would pass that one on!

Ouch....I've never experienced it but I wish you luck...I've heard it hurts. Maybe you can get a numbing cream. My sil gets laser done on her brows and she uses a cream that numbs the area.

Ditto on the advil. It hurts, but it's not terrible.
My waxer told me to swab the area with milk, and it kills some of the redness. I've tried it and it works.

my cousin has an appt in two weeks on Austin St ( Forest Hills ) and she is adding me on to her appt.
she threatened to come to my house and steal all my razors LOL so i HAVE to do it this time. . .

okay it did hurt ,....but its defin worth it ...it was over in a couple minutes and she said the first time is always the worst .......gotta go back in three weeks ...its so much diff than shving
