I've made tons of mock up invites on photoshop, but I think this is seriously one thing I have to leave to the pros. My printer won't handle it and I just don't have the patience for these. So with that said... Where did you get your invites? And are the prices reasonable?
TIA

Re: Ok I give up
I had gotten a proof from Tessa before I changed my colors .. I wasn't to sure on the amount I was quoted from her.
I LOVE letter press.. But the amount of money (Usually) is insane. Especially for something people will just toss out. Its heart wrenching what people do to it
And with making them myself.. I love the idea of having control. But I'm concerned with printing and also driving myself nuts lol
I don't know why I have been having so much difficulty with wedding things these past..erh.eh.. 4 months or so LOL

Re: Ok I give up
How about getting those Brides invites from Michael's and printing them yourself? You would just have to print the text no design because they already come with the design.

I know shes a super sweet lady... but she'd probally want to kill me after I changed my ideas... I felt bad having to ask her to do it all over because I changed everything by the time she sent me everything. So I really feel bad causing her to LOL

Re: Ok I give up
Ah well when i was looking for invites Costco had very pretty ones and they were priced really good or invitations by dawn has very nice ones also.
ETA: Maybe you can print out the Brides ones and affix them onto pocketfolds so then you can have pocketfolds for the fraction of the price.

Re: Ok I give up
Where can I get the paper for the invites? Michael's is expensive because you have to buy the sheets by themselves for the colors I want.
Also if I make them and put my design on a disk will a place print them for me? Or must I relye on my crappy printer?lol

You can buy your paper from cardsandpockets.com and some girls have printed their invites at kinko's.
