ok i hate ppl... had a bridezilla moment yesterday (bach party friday story)-looooong post-

So on friday i told you guys abt my retard cousin (really mom's cousin) who invited her aunts (also my mom's aunts, 54&69) to my bach party in Dominican Republic...

my mom called her aunts and pretty much told them they were ridiculous for even thinking about coming along...

so that isuse was solved... i also told my cousin that she could not just invite anyone (esp old fam members) and that this was a not a family vacation. On saturday we were at the same page and she agreed that it was stupid of her to do that...

Yesterday she texts me and tells me that my TA is an idiot and does not know how to properly run a business...... mind u guys, the TA that's doing this booking is one of my bm's close friends...total sweetheart, got us an awesome deal at the RIU in punta cana, all inclusive $730 for 4d/3n w/airfare

my cousin then said that the agent had not made her reservation on saturday and that prices had gone up (by $55) now i've never heard of a TA making a reservation w/out a DOWNPAYMENT/DEPOSIT...right@??!?!?! I told her I was sorry and that I hoped she could stll make it...

she replied and i quote
'this is too stressful for me and it's not worth it. I'm just going to book a vacation to a different country that i've been wanting to visit'

i held it together and just said.... i'm sorry you feel this way, but this is my bachelorette party not a vacation and i was hoping to celebrate w/you.....

she replied... well to you it is, to me its a break from my life

at that point all i said... was dont worry abt it we wont include you in the trip

am i overreacting? is it wrong of me to b mad at her for wanting to go away only to get away from life? i mean i'm fully aware that ppl volunteering to go away for an OOT Bach party are going bc they want to vacation a little...but seriously shouldnt u also be going to celebrate with the bacehlorette? and if u are really only going with the intention to get away... cant u at least pretend to be happy for the bachelorette ???
