One thing I love-The fact that I make threads about absolutely nothing and I get responses. I love it.

One thing I hate-sometimes you cant post your own opinion without some goody tooshoes making you feel guilty

Mi amore, where have you been all day?

I had a tramatic day. Today is Steve's birthday and I went to Michael's to get him a frame for a pic of the baby for his desk, and then to the bakery to get him a cake. I get out of the bakery and go to start the car and it won't turn over. So I keep trying and start freaking out the baby is in the back seat screaming, I call Steve at work hysterical, meanwhile he's over an hour away, he tries to get my BIL( he works from home) to come and get us. I call my sister to tell her and see if she knows where her hubby is. Finally my BIL calls and says he is on his way. I decide to try one more time and the car starts right away. It is then I realize that the few times I tried to start the car that I hadn't put in the clutch This is what happens when you have no sleep When I called Steve to tell him not to be mad. He is like don't worry calm down and jut go home. He sent me an e-mail before that said he's glad I'm OK but that I will never live this down

Same here!

I sparingly do the 'You have FM' posts - only when it's really urgent. But I in general I think it's rude, like whispering.

Stacey - I am glad everything was ok with the car. DH wouldn't let me live something like that down either but then he's done lots of things I tease him about also

Don't even get me started on the 'You have FM posts' I started a thread about that a while ago trying to have others decrease those (they clog up the boards!), and I got FLAMED! ohhh...it got ugly

You know what bugs me about LIW sometimes??

People will post something they are happy about like 'Yay! I painted my toenails today!!' and they'll immediately get 768 'Congrats! Wonderful! Yay for you! One more thing off the list!' replies, but then alot of times, I'll ask a serious question that I would like ANY reply to, (even 'I have no idea what the heck you are talking about')and I won't get any for 2 days.

One thing I like:
I like how (generally speaking) nice everyone is to each other on LIW. Other boards, which shall remain nameless, get really unnecessarily nasty and immature all too often.

I hate - when you are typing up an FM and you hit a wrong key or just go to look at something else and POOF!! everything is gone... and then you have to re-type the whole thing!! Has this happened to anyone else?

Nothing to add other than the fact that if LIW would give us some sort of notification when we get FM, we wouldn't necessarily need to inform someone that we sent them FM. We need a little something to pop up to let us know other than when we sign on so that we can cut down on the 'You've got FM' clutter.
