OK i have a pet peeve too!

Why do some people, when you are paying at the register, insist on practically looking over your shoulder? ! Can't they just back the **** off??

And I have told them too many times...and they always look surprised....why can't they stand back and wait their turn?

OH! I hate that too sometimes when I shop
The lady behind me usually keeps moving her and her wagon up and then I cant get to the da m n credit card machine so I push my wagon back
toward her not to hit but as if to say, cant you wait till I am done

Ugh, this happened to me the other day at Duane Reade! I was going to use my bank card as a debit, but she moved right on top of me so I just used it as credit!!

I despise people invading my personal space - unless I have invited you in it. And if you're a stranger on line, you are not invited. I stand about 2 feet from the person in front of me...and *expect* people to respect *at least* a foot behind me. Ugh, never happens.

i have the same supermarket problem!!! so now i leave my cart in front of the machine and pack up from the side of the belt instead of at the bottom. it's gotten me a few dirty looks, but too bad!!!
