So, I recently ordered my STD's and I'm waiting for them to come in. I wanted to include a little preprinted note. The note says: 'Will you be needing a hotel room?' and then it includes my and my FH's email address and our phone number. Do you think this is rude? I want to reserve a block of rooms at a hotel and I want to make sure I don't book too many or too little. Do you think its rude to include that note or maybe there's a better way to word it? TIA!!

No. It's nice to give your guests that option. We have a lot of out of state guests. I would speak to the hotel first. Get cards from them and include them in the envelope. Most of hotels will give your guests money off. We're also planning on having a bus to pick up and drop off guests. That way no one is obligated too drive. I think it's a nice service to your guests and many will appreciate it. I would get the info from the hotel first and send that with the STD's. Therefore your guests can call themselves. You have enough to plan!!!!!![]()

I got mine from eInvite.com. They have excellent quality and they were really fast in getting me invitation samples I requested. The STD's I paid 214 for 200 and that includes shipping. I know it seems a little steep but we also had our address printed on the back of the envelope so that was an extra charge but I felt it was worth it because that saves us time in the long run.![]()
Oh! I also have a few sites that do STD magnets if you want those!

hehe...very true! I would have gone all out too, but I just gave my STD as a favor at my e-party, so we didn't need envelopes.
A little FYI, you do not need to really worry about blocking too many, b/c any rooms not booked one month before, get dropped.
