I am going to the watermill tonight and I want to get the prices for March, but what do you think of a january wedding? I would have it the first weekend of January. The thing that i'm worried about is the snow, I dont want a blizzard on my wedding day, but I dont remember it snowing that early in the winter though. Is anyone else here having a January wedding
I am getting married Jan. 15th at Fox Hollow. The prices were great because most people don't want to get married. I talked with the BM about what happens if there is a blizzard and he told me we have the option of having the wedding or rescheduling for the next available date. I am happy that I am getting married in Jan. becuase I have seen some beautiful pictures. I am willing to take the chance, especially with the price so good!
I think a January wedding would be beautiful. There are so many beautiful 'winter' themed floral arrangements you could do. Don't worry too much about the weather, you could drive yourself crazy about it! It's something so out of our control.
The weather could be at any time. Getting wedding insurance may make more sense for a winter wedding though.
