Ok I need your honest opinions...

My ultimate goal in life is to be a boutique owner. FH feels that since things are the way they are with the economy, it would be better for me to start online rather than open an actual storefront and have overhead... online there is none.

What do you think? Good idea? Honestly, I am making moves fast and you girls give the best advice...

BTW, I really can't post what I plan on selling b/c of lurkers, but those who know me well enough have an idea...

I don't think it's a bad idea. That way you can see how things go and once you have established a client base go from there.

I would def start online! I've seen a lot of online store success stories. And I'm sure we'll all support your business

YES! Definitely start online!

You can get your own site hosted for like $8 from GoDaddy or if you want, FH can get you started with the website stuff. He hosts from his server and has decent prices. FM me if you want his info.

i think thats a lot smarter to start this way right now... most small business close within the first 5 years theyre open, not to be a debby downer just facts, so it would su ck to have invested thousands and thousands of dollars, better off doing online first while you get the hang of things, figure out expenses, product, logistics etc
