OK I OFFICIALLY FELT OLD TODAY!!!!!!!!!-- TEACHERS PLEASE READ

This morning our district must have called in every sub on our lists because of the SS assessment. Well, walking down the hall comes a sub. I am think hmmm looks familiar. As she gets closer I realize it is a former student . I was a student from my first year of teaching, I was spilt between the high school and the middle school and she is now subbing. She is trying to become an English teacher!

My jaw was on the floor that one of my former students is now OLD enough to become a teacher. My goodness did it make me feel old!!

It is bad enough that my first group of babies (7th graders) are finishing their 2 year of college but now this. Next it will be that I am having kids of former students

Aww! That's great, though! I know, I have a student who is teaching right now, too. Granted it is privately for music, but it's very weird to think about!

oh my. It must be somewhat rewarding that a former student wants to be a teacher too.
