and bought that book everyone is talking about. I had a chance to skim through it, but that's it. From what I read, (according to my CM) I should ovulate somewhat soon. Hopefully! I didn't want to miss our opportunity this month. I guess my LH surge is just a little late this month. Now that I bought that book, my husband is going to want to buy something he wants. Which is always a 'Toy'. For me, it's always something practical.

Good for you Melissa. Now, don't get too upset (easier said then done) if you need another month to figure this all out. Once you read the book, make sure to start your online chart and then just let nature work.
I KNOW how hard this is, trust me BUT it will happen. You just need to stay calm, listen to your body and trust that it will do what is necessary.
Let me know if you have any questions about the book.

Re: Ok... I went during my lunch break...
I pretty much know my fertile time. I've been monitoring it for about 2 yrs now. I know the CM changes, and the ovulation pains that I get. I just haven't experienced them yet. I thought I would of ovulated today, but I'm not. I always get pains, and EW CM. Right now my CM is the stage right before EW. I guess it's just late this month. I've always been regular when it comes to my periods. I've never missed a month. So, I've just been waiting for our 'Trying' time, so I guess it just seems longer than it really is. I've been watching my CM, and there hasn't been any change until today. Nothing significant, but hopefully I'll be fertile soon! I can't wait anymore!!!

Re: Ok... I went during my lunch break...
thanks michele who authored it I may go look into it
I bought that book a few months ago....I found it very helpful in general....whether you're TTC or trying to find a more natural BC method. It's amazing how little some know (myself included!) about their own bodies - it was very interesting to read up on the subject!! I bought that basal thermometer, but haven't yet started charting - too lazy I guess!
