ok im confused bout something now..

i have a 250 cap on my alterations but i see some do and r still paying for the bustle....thats not included..and whats this about paying per button

can u tell my dress has not come in yet lol

I think the cap on alterations includes the bustle....That means you shouldn't pay more than $250 for everything, is what I thought it meant. I could be wrong though, because my alterations were 'a la carte' they called it.

My alterations were NOT included--had to pay for them separately, so I can't help you here.

My alterations are capped @ one price and I had them cap the bustle at another price. I think its 2 seperate things?

the 250 cap includes alterations like the hem, taking the sides in etc...the bustle is an additional fee. It is charged per bustle point. Bustle points are usually done in odd numbered increments. For example, our store has a cap on alterations and charged 10 dollars per traditional point and 15 per french bustle point. Hope tha thelps!

no..unfortunately the bustle is separate in most stores

My cap is $375, but I'm pretty sure my bustle is separate (swell).

I think everyplace is different. I had ordered from Bridal Couture (which has since closed). Alterations there were capped, but did not include the bustle.

Now, I'm having my alterations done at Madame Paulette's in the city. I'm being charged for the specific alterations they're doing, i.e., separate charges for the bustle, hem, tightening the bodice, etc.

I guess the bustle is separate G....I know I paid for each thing I had done-taking it in, adding cups, hem, and bustle. It was all $500 What can you do?!

My alterations are included, but the bustle is separate and I think she said that's capped at $150....but who remembers?

Check your receipt, it should say it on there. I remembered them telling me the cap but I didn't know about the charge per point until I looked at the receipt on the way to my first fitting. I think I ended up with 10 points.
